Do astronomers and astrophycists have trouble finding a job related to their field?

There aren't a ton of jobs in astronomy. It can be hard to find a job in the field directly related to what you want to do, or what you trained to do. But your degree is applicable to many other fields of science and industry, as long as you don't mind working out of astronomy.
