You should explain to her that if shes worried about going to treatment for alcohol looking bad on her in court imagine what breaking a restraining order would do. i understand what you mean by wanting her to be happy but if her being happy means putting her children back in harms way then shes being selfish. when you give birth to a child you are a mother. a mothers duties are to love and protect her children ALWAYS. if the guy shes with cant understand that then he is just as selfish and obviously doesnt respect her as a person or a mother. you are a good friend to care so much and nothing is wrong with you "meddling" as a previous answer stated. you care about the welfare of two innocent mistreated children. i hope you can talk some sense in to her before something bad happens.
