HARD QUESTION!! What was the name of the book with a grandpa and two girls and?

sounds like some book I read and it was called "Ruby Holler" It's not the book your looking for, but is somewhat like it. It's about two kids one boy one girl and there in foster care. And if they do anything wrong they are in the cellar for 2 days. Every time they get adopted they come staight back to the orpahnage and get put in the cellar. Finally two old people come and take them and keep them and have odd adventures. It's by Sharon Creech. And then there's Chasing Redbird also a very good book by Sharon Creech.
