Causes of becoming hyper-logical and detached...sort of dreamy-looking?

May be trauma, asbergers syndrome or something else entirely. The idea that some emotional trauma may have sent her to this Spock-like version of life is sound but not the only answer. Unfortunately you can not make someone open up no matter how much you care. I bet she appreciates you way more than you will ever know. Just keep letting her know you care.
