French Translation. HELPPP!?

If I had to venture a guess, I would say that what you think is a J is actually an L. You mentioned that these are vintage type images and French handwriting can be quite different from American handwriting anyway. If this is the case it would be as others have said: "Love is the reason" and "Love, always love". Also "Bel amour" is correct for "Beautiful love"
