Guinea pig Getting a Draft?

Today was pretty got where I live it was about 30-40,really hot! My guinea pig's cage is on a table in my room. My mom turned on the air conditioning and I had a fan going in my room so he won't get to hot,but facing the opposite direction of my guinea pig and the fan was turned on "low". I was just wondering if this would give him a draft,because I heard that can give them a URI I don't want him to get sick. So will it give him a draft or should he be alright?
