On Survivor: Fans Vs Favorites, shouldn't they have done this at the last tribal council?

Pavarti's team wanted to go after Jason, but they were going to split their votes between Jason and James, just in case. Shouldn't Amanda, James and Eric of told Jason what was up, had him play his hidden immunity idol, and the four of them voted for Parvarti? Then they would of stood a chance...now, if eric & james don't win individual immunity, they're goners. That would of been another great move in this Season of Survivor! I guess you can only have TWO blindsides in one season : (
